Would you like to be the welcoming face of Gosport Voluntary Action (GVA)?

Join the Reception team at GVA and use your administrative experience and warm friendly personality to assist us in delivering the best possible information and advice service to Gosport residents needing or offering help in the local community.
We need receptionists who are confident to act on their own initiative after training in a varied and interesting role. This mainly involves answering the telephone, meeting people in person and researching information.
GVA supports over 300 voluntary groups and so the questions asked and the help needed will always vary. There will always be another team member to support you and who can tell you where to obtain the information needed.
What do we need from a Reception volunteer?
- Reliable commitment of a morning or afternoon once a week (We are open between 9am -4pm)
- Willingness to work as a member of a friendly team and turn your hand to a variety of jobs as needed.
What do we offer you at GVA?
- A friendly place to volunteer
- The satisfaction of knowing you are making a difference for those working in and visiting the Centre.
